Crews Increase Containment Of MOCO Fire

Cool temperatures and less wind this week has allowed crews to increase containment of the Winter Valley Fire, which ignited last week south of Elk Springs, increasing containment from 70 to 100%. Crews have also been able to prevent the fire from growing so far this week, keeping it at 7,800 acres, or 12 square miles. The cause of the Winter Valley Fire remains under investigation.
