Creek Reopened To Recreational Activity

Jones Hole Creek in Dinosaur National Monument has been reopened to recreational access. A septic line break forced the closure of the creek earlier this month, but there has been no noticeable contamination of the stream. Water samples that were tested in several locations along the creek revealed contaminants were extremely low and well within acceptable levels for recreational access. The closure was lifted based on the water samples and recommendations from the US Public Health Service. Pictured Jones Hole Creek, photo courtesy of Dinosaur National Monument.
