The Traffic Signal Replacement Project in Craig has been completed by the Colorado Department of Transportation. The project’s goal was to improve traffic flow and to increase the safety of the roadway for motorists and pedestrians. Crews removed and replaced outdated traffic signals and made improvements to the curbs and gutters. They also made improvements to the intersections of Highways 40 and Highway 13, Highway 40 with Finley and Mack Lane, and Highway 13 and 6th Street. The total cost of the project was $1.1 million.
