Craig And Steamboat Students Join National Walkout

Students in Craig and Steamboat joined others across the state and country yesterday, in a silent walkout on the one month anniversary of the deaths of students and Staff at Majority Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida. Students from Craig Middle School walked out of school for 17 minutes, which was meant to represent the 17 people who lost their lives in the shooting, while students at Moffat County High School did not walk out, but instead chose to conduct a moment of silence in the memory of those who died. Around 200 Steamboat Springs High School students also joined the walk out, leaving their classes around 10 in the morning.
