Craig Police Investigating Vandalism at Mountain Meats

CRAIG-POLICE-BADGE-300Craig police are investigating a report of vandalism at Mountain Meat Packing. The incident was reported to police yesterday. Administrative Sergeant John Forgay says compressors on refrigeration units were damaged, causing freon to escape. He says fortunately the vandalism was discovered quickly, allowing Mountain Meat to save the product in those units. The damage is estimated to be worth about $6,000. There have been no arrests yet in the investigation.  Mountain Meat is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible.
