Craig Man Sentenced To 16 Years For Assaults

District Attorney 14th31 year old Samuel Doolin from Craig, was sentenced in Moffat County Court late last month, to 16 years in prison for his role in three separate assault cases.  Doolin pleaded guilty to two counts of Second Degree Assault, one count of Third Degree Assault and one count of indecent exposure. The case involved three victims, two of which were strangled by Doolin which triggered the felony charges.  Doolin has been held in the Moffat County Jail since he missed a court date earlier this year. After Doolin has completed his prison sentence, he will also be subject to 10 years of Sex Offender Intensive Probation Supervision.
