CPW Offering Free Camping To Volunteers

Colorado Parks and Wildlife is offering volunteers a free night of camping in exchange for their work helping to maintain trails this weekend at State Forest State Park near Walden. Interested individuals should arrive at the Park’s Moose Visitation Center tomorrow morning at 8:30 to participate in the trail maintenance. Volunteers can camp for one night free of charge, either the night before trail work or the night following. Participants must bring their own water, food and insect repellent. Colorado Parks and Wildlife will provide the tools for the work. For additional information on other volunteer opportunities available, call 723-8366, or send an email to state.forest@state.co.us.
