About 4,000 conservative activists in Denver over the weekend wrapped up their meeting yesterday after hearing from six presidential hopefuls. The Western Conservative Summit drew a trio of governors on Saturday – Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and former Texas Governor Rick Perry. The group also heard remarks from former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, businesswoman Carly Fiorina and neurosurgeon Ben Carson. The summit came just after the Supreme Court issued landmark rulings upholding the health care overhaul and making gay marriage legal in all 50 states. On Sunday the attendees took a presidential straw poll and talked about gun policy.
