Colorado Woman One Of Two Dead Following 2nd I-80 Pileup

DSC_0002One more fatality has been confirmed from from Monday’s 64 vehicle pileup on Interstate 80 in Wyoming between Cheyenne and Laramie. 58 year old Lynn Freeman of Williford, Arkansas and 23 year old Jenay L. Breden of Westminster, Colorado were pronounced deceased on scene. The two females were in separate vehicles during the crash. 45 year old Alex Dragaytsev, from Longueuil, Quebec, Canada, has been arrested and charged with aggravated vehicular homicide. The decision to arrest and charge Mr. Dragaytsev was based upon evidence from the investigation and conference with the Albany County Attorney’s Office. The specific evidence leading to that arrest is part of the pending criminal investigation and is not being released at this time. Interstate 80 eastbound reopened Monday night at 11:24 p.m. and westbound traffic is still being rerouted on US 30 from Laramie to Walcott Junction (at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday).
