Colorado Kids Dental Heath Improving

Kids in Colorado have stronger teeth than others in the state did just a decade ago.  That according to a new report from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The numbers show that over the last decade 14% fewer kindergartners have had a cavity, with the number of third graders with cavities also dropping by about 10% over that same period. The report found more children are receiving sealants on their teeth, but there is still some disparity with teeth health among varying income levels, and African American and Latino students are more likely to have dental problems than their white peers.
