Colorado Receives Money To Help With Wildfires

Wildfires-300With wildfires burning throughout the state, Colorado is spending a great deal of money this year on fire prevention and maintenance. To help with the additional expenditures the Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded just under $1.2 million to the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control, to help with the cost. According to Colorado US Senator Cory Gardner, these funds will go a long way in assisting wildfire response efforts, and he is confident the grant will help Colorado continue to fight and prevent future fires.
