CO Unemployment Hits 15 Year Low

The unemployment level in Colorado fell .1% to 2.9% in January, reaching its lowest level since 2001, according to a new report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This is well below the national unemployment rate which sits at 4.8%. The report also shows that the average work week increased by about .4 hours in Colorado in 2016, with average wages decreasing by 70 cents, to $26.70. To view the report, click here.
