CO Hospital Association Opposes Obamacare Repeal

The Colorado Hospital Association has come out in opposition against the Graham-Cassidy bill that would repeal and replace Obamacare, which is currently being considered in the United States Senate. Colorado Hospital Association President Steven Summer says the bill has the potential to harm the health of all Coloradans. According to Summer’s, with one in five Coloradans covered by Medicaid, the cuts proposed under Graham-Cassidy would also impact hospital’s abilities to provide care for the states most vulnerable patients. Senator Michael Bennet and Governor John Hickenlooper, both democrats, have also come out against the bill, while Republican Senator Cory Gardner says he has yet to make up his mind on how he will vote.
