Club 20 will hold their Summer Policy Committee Meetings this month. The meetings will be held in two different parts of the state to give citizens a chance to participate. The first will take place in Rifle and the 2nd in Lake City. Club 20 is a non-partisan coalition of businesses, local governments and individual stakeholders across 22 counties who work together to protect and promote the interests of Western Colorado. While only Club 20 members can vote on resolutions during meetings, anyone is welcome to attend. The Rifle meetings will take on the topics of telecommunications, health care, education, tourism, transportation and business affairs. In Lake City the group will tackle public lands and natural resources, agriculture, water and energy. The Rifle meeting is July 16th and 17th at the Ute Events Center; the Lake City meeting is July 30th and 31st at the Lake City Area Medical Center. You can see complete agendas by clicking here.
