Club 20 held their informational meeting and county caucuses in Craig Thursday. During the meeting the group identified their Top Ten issues they would like the state legislature to take up during the next session. Those issues include Broadband Services, State Cooperation regarding federal land decisions, water, energy, transportation, education, Higher Education Funding, Capital Improvements, health care, and economic development. Each issue comes with a description on haw the club would like it to be approached. For example, under health care, the club states that premiums are higher in Western Colorado than they are in urban areas of the state, and they are urging the legislature to alleviate the higher rural premiums.
