With the 105th Steamboat Winter Carnival scheduled this weekend, the city will be closing several roads and implementing additional services to accommodate the event. One lane of Lincoln Ave will be closed for 6 to 8 hours starting Wednesday afternoon at 1, to allow crews to set up for street events. Lincoln Avenue will be fully closed from 5th to 11th street, starting at 2 Sunday morning and will be reopened at the conclusion of the street events Sunday afternoon. Yampa Street will also be closed Sunday morning for parade staging. The Diamond Hitch Parade will take place after the street events, with the closure in effect until around 2 in the afternoon. All trails that access Emerald Mountain will be closed from 4 to 9 Saturday night, to allow crews to set up and launch fireworks. The Steamboat transit will operate additional service during the Winter Carnival, Saturday night, and during the day on Sunday. The schedule of addition bus lines is available below. From the Stockbridge toward the Mountain: 2:30 am
From the Gondola Transit Center toward the Condominiums: 2:50 am
From the Gondola Transit Center toward Downtown: 3:15 am
From Downtown toward the west: 3:26 am (3rd Street)
