Brita Horn To Run For State Treasurer

Routt County Treasurer Brita Horn has announced that she will run for Colorado State Treasurer in 2018. Horn has been the Treasurer of Routt County since 2014. Horn, who is from the McCoy area, is married to a cattle rancher, she has two daughters and also has served as the town’s volunteer fire chief since 2008.  Horn was a Republican delegate to the 2016 National Convention and has served in various capacities for the Routt County Republicans since 2010. Horn says she understands the importance of managing household finances and how hardworking Colorado families must set priorities, spend responsibly and save money for the future.
