Bonfils Blood Center will be conducting their last blood drive of the year in Steamboat next week. Bonfils is hoping for a great turn-out before the Holiday season. The organizations says that every unit of blood donated can help to save or enhance the lives of up to three people. They also suggest that donating blood is a great way to kick off a season of giving. The blood drive will take place November 12th from 12:30 to 6 at Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat. It’s advised that you make an appointment, but walk-ins are welcome from 3:30 to 5:30. Health officials suggest you allow an hour for your visit, and that you eat a full meal and drink plenty of water before donating. If you have questions, or would like to make an appointment, call 1-800-365-0006 option 2.
