Bike Riders To Work Free On Home Projects In Craig

Fuller-CenterTwo cross country bike rides will make stops in Craig this month. Participants from the rides, both sponsored by the Fuller Center For Housing, will each spend a day in Craig volunteering their time and labor to work on the homes and yards owned by the disabled, senior citizens, veterans and low-income individuals who cannot afford to hire someone to do the work. The home owner will need to provide the material and tools for the job. The property being worked on must be owned by the occupant. The first group of 40 riders will arrive in Craig Tuesday afternoon (July 5th), then spend all day Wednesday working on projects around the community. The second group with 35 riders will arrive on Tuesday July 12th and will provide volunteer work the next day. If you own and live in your home and believe you may qualify for their free services you can call either Vicki Burns at 970-824-7086 or Neil Folks at 970-326-8726.
