Northwest Colorado ballots are trickling into local county elections clerks. An updated count on the number of ballots turned in by voters across the state show that 700 Routt County residents have turned in their ballots. 325 Moffat County voters and 187 Rio Blanco County voters have done the same. In all three counties, the number of Republicans turning in ballots have exceeded those of Democrats and Unaffiliated voters. A total of 79,355 voters have turned in their ballots in Colorado so far. Nearly 37,000 have come from Republicans, less than 25,000 have come from Democrats, and just over 17,000 have been turned in by unaffiliated voters. Election Day is November 4th. Ballots must be received by elections clerks by 7 that evening.
