Tomorrow is Election Day. Those who haven’t turned in their ballots have until 7 tomorrow night to do so. Elections officials say you should take your ballot in to your county’s polling place. In Moffat County that is the Moffat County Courthouse. In Rio Blanco County, it’s the courthouse in Meeker, and the Annex Building in Rangely. In Routt County voters can drop their ballots off at the courthouse annex in Steamboat, Hayden Town Hall, and Oak Creek Town Hall. Local issues include extensions of taxes that fund the local school districts in Hayden and Oak Creek. In Moffat County voters will decide whether they would like the County Commissioners to lift the moratorium on commercial marijuana growing operations in the county. The question is non-binding, and would still have to be acted on by the commissioners in a regular meeting.
