American Energy Alliance Produces Video Supporting NW Colorado

aeaThe American Energy Alliance has produced a short video supporting Northwest Colorado in its fight against the WildEarth Guardians. WildEarth filed a lawsuit against the Office of Surface Mining earlier this year, saying the office’s Environmental Assessment for the South Taylor Pit at ColoWyo was insufficient. The judge agreed, saying the assessment didn’t do enough to consider the effects of coal after it leaves the mine. He ordered the assessment to be redone within 120 days. While that presented a very tight time frame, the OSM did not appeal or file for a stay, but was able to finish the redone assessment on time. That EA is now available for review, and will be the subject of a public meeting tonight from 6 to 8 at Moffat County High School.
