A tractor-trailer slid off Highway 13 just north of Meeker shortly after Midnight Friday and rolled onto its side. The accident caused the semi’s saddle tank to rupture spilling about 150 gallons of diesel fuel. Crews worked until almost 1 Friday afternoon to clean up the majority of the fuel. During the clean-up, passage through the area was down to one lane of alternating traffic. Additional work may be required Monday to completely clear the remnants of the accident and fuel spill. The driver of the semi, a 33 year old male from Idaho, was not injured.
