A fatal accident Wednesday near Casper marked the 96th traffic fatality on the State’s Highways this year. 46-year-old Soonyong Lee of South Korea was driving on Wyoming Highway 220, when he crossed the center-line and collided head-on with a pickup. Both Lee and a 3-year-old boy, Jaehyeok Seo, also from South Korea were both killed in the incident. Both the driver of the other vehicle and another passenger in Lee’s car survived the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment. During the same time period last year, 79 deaths had occurred on Wyoming highways. This compared to the 98 fatalities which occurred in both 2014 and 2015.
