66 Crashes In One Day On I-80 In Wyoming

The Wyoming Highway Patrol recorded 66 road crashes last Thursday along the I-80 corridor in Laramie, Albany and Carbon Counties. The department reportedly received calls for 27 crashes in Carbon County, 23 in Laramie County and 16 in Albany County by 3:30 Thursday afternoon. I-80 between Sinclair and Walcott Junction was closed from about 10:30 to 3 Thursday, due to unsafe conditions on the highway. With snow in the forecast for the remainder of the week, it’s possible that unsafe road conditions will again materialize in the area.
