The 22nd Annual Holiday Drive is from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Dec. 3-4 at the west entrance of Centennial Mall in Craig.
We will be collecting cash and donations for Interfaith Food Bank, Christmas for Kids, Christmas for Seniors, and Open Heart Advocates. If you wish to make a cash donation, please make out your check in the name of the specific nonprofit. If you wish to make a cash donation and have it split evenly between all four nonprofits, please make your check out to Moffat County United Way.
100% of all donations go directly to the nonprofits and 100% stays in Moffat County.
Below is a list of what each nonprofit is in need of this year:
INTERFAITH FOOD BANK
Any non-perishable food (Please check expiration dates.)
Canned soups, tuna, boxed mac and cheese, canned fruit, especially peaches and pears, canned pork and beans, breakfast cereal
CHRISTMAS FOR SENIORS
Gift cards to City Market, Walmart, and Walgreens ($25 each), blankets, slippers, crosswords puzzle books, books (western, mystery, local history), twin comforters, twin blankets, sweatpants and sweatshirts, pajamas, art supplies, knitting and crocheting supplies
OPEN HEART ADVOCATES
Books – “Who is the Boss of this Body” by Megan Hurley, “The Kid Trapper” by Julia Cook, Gift cards to City Market and Walmart, Cell phones and minute cards, queen, full and single quilts, new bed pillows, (3) Ring cameras or something similar, pots, pans, silverware, slow cookers, and other kitchen items
CHRISTMAS FOR KIDS
Remote control cars and trucks, Legos, baby dolls, craft kits, sleds, Minecraft, art kits, basketballs, footballs, Nerf guns, baby toys, toy tool sets, Transformers, Hot Wheels race tracks, Magna Tiles, bikes, sleds
