Weather Wreaks Havoc Across Colorado

CDOTAll four seasons were experienced across Colorado yesterday. In our area, high winds, rain and snow caused dangerous driving conditions and forced the closure of Colorado 14 between US-40 and Walden which compounded travel problems. On the Front Rage High winds knocked out power to several areas yesterday. The National Weather Service says winds near 100 miles per hour were reported in some mountain areas in Colorado including Glen Haven and Frisco. On the flip side Denver broke an 86-year-old record high when it hit 72 and Pueblo recorded temperatures up in the 80’s.
