State Wrestling LIVE on 93.7 102.3 KRAI & KRAI.COM

The High School State Wrestling Championships get underway today. You can follow all the Northwest Colorado wrestlers through the tournament by listen to our live broadcast on 93-7 102-3 KRAI or online at KRAI.COM. For the third consecutive year, cousins Dennis and Anton Fredrickson will call the action. Both are former high school state champions, Dennis for SoRoCo and Anton for Hayden.  Our coverage begins at 2:45 this afternoon with the 2A and 3A preliminaries. Meeker, the number two ranked 2A team in the state, has 10 wrestlers at the tournament. Moffat County has 6. Steamboat and Hayden are each sending 3. SoRoCo has 2 and Rangely and West Grand have 1 each. One of the biggest stories of the tournament will be about three time defending state champion, TJ Shelton from Meeker who will be vying to become only the 19th four-time state champion in the history of Colorado High School wrestling. Below you’ll find a schedule of our daily broadcast times, a listing of all Northwest Colorado wrestlers at the tournament and a link to the state tournament brackets.
