1 Dead After Truck Collides With Paving Equipment

A Utah man was killed yesterday afternoon on Highway 40, after he crashed his vehicle into paving equipment.  36-year-old Jason Christenson lost control of his truck about 24 miles west of Kremmling, resulting in the pickup going off the road at a high rate of speed where it collided head on with the unoccupied paving machine, which was parked on the shoulder of the highway. Christenson, the only person in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
